March of Dimes

IBEW Local 1049 in support of the March for Babies walk on May 1st with PSEG Long Island. Our March for Babies effort is rampin' up! You in?

Sunday, May 1 will be here before you know it. Are you ready to help make PSEG Long Island the number one fundraiser and participant for this year's March of Dimes (MOD) March for Babies walk?

More than 50 employees have already stepped up to be team captains, and 150 employees have already joined a team. You can join one of these teams, too - or start one of your own - lead a fundraising effort or volunteer to make the event another great success.

To learn more about how YOU can get involved in the March for Babies, please contact Patricia Miles at PSEG Long Island needs fundraising support, volunteers to man the event registration tables, and helpers to support the event day set up and breakdown of the PSEG Long Island tent. We need the collective support of ALL employees, friends and family to help make this effort a success and to save babies, support families in need, and show the commitment we all have to our community. Remember: It takes a village to save babies, and we need everyone's support to make this effort successful!

There are only 3 weeks left before event! We are currently behind last year's participation fundraiser levels to date; we have about 230 participants to date and $10K raised.  Our goal is for 800 participants and raise $80K.  We need EVERYONES help to make event another success.  Please become captains, join a team and hold or support fundraisers.
Bottom line is what can you and 1049 do to help build awareness and further engage employees to support fundraisers and sign up on a team to walk?
